Meet Dr. Jennifer Divine
Dr. Jennifer Divine is the founder of Divine Dermatology and Surgical Institute. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Florida Honors College in Tampa, Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Divine subsequently completed an internship in Pediatrics and a residency in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of South Florida.
She is amongst the few elite physicians to be accepted in and complete an ACMS approved fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Divine relocated to the front range with her husband and two children to enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. Dr. Divine enjoys spending time with her family, country music, fishing, watersports, running, and snowboarding.
Joshua Hickman PA-C
Josh is a Board Certified Physician Assistant practicing in general and surgical dermatology. Before joining the United States Army as a Combat Medic, Josh obtained his undergraduate degree from Auburn University in Auburn, AL. He later completed his medical education through the military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program, splitting time in San Antonio, TX, and Colorado Springs, CO. He continues to serve in the Army National Guard. He received his formal dermatology training under the direction of Dr. Kevan Lewis. Josh is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Veterans Caucus of the AAPA, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. His dermatological passions focus on using evidence-based medicine to provide patients with the best general and surgical outcomes.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys camping, rock climbing, visiting National Parks, and binge-watching episodes of Survivor.
Hannah Pierce PA-C
Hannah Pierce is a board certified physician assistant and has been working in dermatology since 2019. Hannah grew up in Singapore before moving to the US for college. Completing her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina she relocated to Colorado 8 years ago and soon began the pursuit of her career in dermatology while working as a medical assistant at Divine Dermatology. Finding her passion in skin cancer detection and treatment Hannah was soon enrolled and graduated from Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. She is very excited to be back where her passion began serving the communities of Northern Colorado with Divine Dermatology.
Hannah enjoys spending her time outdoors. On the weekends, you can find Hannah spending time with her family exploring the mountains and cheering on the Broncos.
Erika Guider, PA-C
Erika has been practicing as a board-certified Physician Assistant since 2011. Originally from Florida, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida. She worked as a certified surgical technologist, assisting in surgery, before attending and graduating from Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant Program with a Masters in Medical Science. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is passionate about treating general dermatology conditions, as well as skin cancer screening and prevention. Erika has served the Denver area for many years in the field of dermatology and is looking forward to serving the Northern Colorado community.
In her spare time, Erika enjoys hiking with her dog, paddleboarding, and watching college football.
Lauren Garlock, PA-C
A Coloradoan since age 2, Lauren is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Divine Dermatology in the Fall of 2024 as a new provider. After studying at the University of Colorado – Boulder, she graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Physiology while also completing a certificate in Public Health. After graduation, she served as a caregiver for a person with quadriplegia while working as a dermatology medical assistant in the Boulder area. This experience further informed her passion for helping patients and how to better understand their needs. This experience also inspired her to pursue a career as a physician assistant in the field of dermatology.
In addition to completing her Masters degree in Physician assistant studies at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Lauren is currently working to complete a dermatology fellowship with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
After her time on the east coast, Lauren and her fiancé relocated back home to enjoy
Northern Colorado. She is very excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve the Northern Colorado community and their dermatology needs.
In her free time you can find her skiing, hiking, climbing, and spending time with her friends and family!
